PRODUCT OVERVIEW
Clean Point-of-Use Steam Without a Burner or Fuel Train.
The ZFQ electric series integrates the steam-generating body, electric heating stages, water-level control, pressure instruments, safety devices and operating controls in a compact cabinet arrangement.
The available range covers 40-1000 kg/h at 0.09 MPa. Electrical capacity, transformer allowance, cable sizing, feedwater conditions and the real steam-load profile must be checked before final selection.
Electric Heating
Electrical energy is converted directly into heat without a combustion or flue-gas route.
Compact Cabinet Layout
The generating body and principal electrical controls are arranged for a compact installation footprint.
Automatic Operation
Water supply, heating stages, pressure control, alarms and shutdown logic are coordinated automatically.
Point-of-Use Steam
Installation close to the process can reduce long steam-distribution runs where the site layout permits.
POWER-TO-STEAM ROUTE
Electrical Input, Treated Water and Automatic Heating Work as One System.
Treated feedwater enters through the matched tank and pump arrangement. Electric heating stages transfer energy directly to the water while the controller coordinates pressure, water level and operating status.
Steam leaves through the approved outlet and safety arrangement for the verified process duty. The system requires no burner, fuel storage, combustion-air fan or boiler chimney route.

Electrical basis: The standard table uses 380 V and 50 Hz. Confirm local voltage, phase, frequency, transformer and permitted connected load before ordering.
Output basis: Final guaranteed output and power consumption depend on feedwater temperature, supply stability, steam pressure, load profile and test conditions stated in the technical agreement.
Dimensions: Use the approved general-arrangement drawing for foundation, access, lifting, cabling and transport planning.
ELECTRICAL & SITE ENGINEERING
Confirm the Real Electrical Capacity Before Locking the Model.
An electric steam generator can simplify the plant layout, but the available transformer capacity, incoming cable, switchgear, protection and local electricity tariff must support the selected heating load.
Send electrical and process data →- 01Connected Load
Confirm available transformer capacity and the site’s permitted electrical demand.
- 02Voltage & Frequency
Verify the actual three-phase supply before equipment design.
- 03Cable & Switchgear
Size incoming cables, isolators and protective devices for the selected load.
- 04Steam-Load Profile
Separate normal demand, peak demand, startup load and daily operating hours.
- 05Feedwater Quality
Control hardness and dissolved solids to protect heating surfaces.
- 06Operating Cost
Compare local electricity tariff and demand charges with alternative energy routes.
GENERATOR & SYSTEM BOUNDARY
Define Electrical, Water and Steam Interfaces Together.
A complete proposal identifies what is supplied with the packaged generator and what remains with the customer’s power distribution, piping, civil and local-compliance contractors.
Site transformer, incoming cables, external switchgear, site piping, civil works, installation, registration and inspection are included only when explicitly stated in the agreed supply scope.
APPLICATIONS
For Verified Smaller Low-Pressure Process-Steam Loads.
Suitability depends on pressure, normal and peak demand, operating hours, electrical capacity, water quality and local equipment rules – not industry name alone.
Laundry & Garment
Ironing, pressing and washing loads compatible with the low-pressure route.
Food Processing
Cooking, vessel heating and cleaning after pressure and hygiene boundaries are confirmed.
Laboratory & Research
Smaller controlled steam duties where electric power and water quality are suitable.
Packaging
Heating and cleaning applications after the actual load and duty cycle are checked.
Small Process Lines
Distributed steam duties that value clean point-of-use generation and compact installation.
Point-of-Use Steam
Zoned steam generation that can reduce long distribution runs and standby losses.
SELECTION GUIDANCE
Choose ZFQ Only When Pressure, Load and Electrical Capacity Fit.
ZFQ provides a compact low-pressure electric route. When the process requires higher pressure, larger continuous output or the electrical infrastructure is insufficient, compare a WDR electric steam boiler or a gas/oil steam solution before final selection.
Compare steam-supply routes →- 01Strong ZFQ Fit
Low-pressure steam, 40-1000 kg/h load, suitable grid capacity and compact installation.
- 02Verify Use-Point Pressure
Confirm required equipment pressure after steam-line losses.
- 03Check Operating Reserve
Select from normal and peak demand rather than one theoretical load.
- 04Review Larger Alternatives
Move to WDR or another industrial steam boiler when pressure or duty exceeds the generator route.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
ZFQ Electric Steam Generator FAQ.
Which capacities are available?
The ZFQ electric series is available in 40, 50, 60, 100, 150, 200, 300, 500, 700 and 1000 kg/h models at 0.09 MPa and 118°C.
What electrical supply is required?
The listed range uses 380 V and 50 Hz. Final voltage, phase, frequency, transformer allowance, cable and switchgear must match the project site.
Does it require a burner or chimney?
No. Electric heating does not require a burner, fuel train, combustion-air fan or normal flue-gas chimney route.
Is the 98% value guaranteed for every project?
The listed thermal efficiency is 98%. Final guaranteed performance and test conditions must be stated in the approved technical agreement.
Does it require water treatment?
Yes. Water quality and blowdown must be controlled because scale reduces heat transfer and can damage heating and pressure parts.
When should I select a WDR electric boiler instead?
Review WDR when the project requires higher pressure, larger continuous industrial duty or a boiler configuration beyond the 0.09 MPa ZFQ route.
