PRODUCT OVERVIEW

A Compact Low-Pressure Steam Route for Distributed Process Loads.

The ZFQ series combines a vertical steam-generating body, matched gas or liquid-fuel burner, automatic water feeding and operating controls in a compact packaged arrangement. The ZFQ product range covers 0.2–2.0 t/h at a rated pressure of 0.09 MPa.

ZFQ is specifically a low-pressure steam generator. It should not be treated as a direct substitute for a WNS or SZS industrial boiler, or for another steam-generator series, until the real process pressure, steam-load profile and local regulatory route have been checked.

01

Packaged Vertical Layout

The generator body, burner, controls and main operating instruments are arranged for a compact installation footprint.

02

Gas or Liquid-Fuel Route

Technical data is available for natural gas, LPG, city gas, light diesel and heavy oil; the actual burner and fuel train must match the selected fuel.

03

Automatic Operation

Water feeding, burner operation, pressure control, alarms and safety interlocks are coordinated through the selected control system.

04

Project-Specific Compliance

Registration, inspection, operator and installation requirements are determined by the destination country and the final equipment classification.

FUEL-TO-STEAM ROUTE

Water Level, Combustion and Steam Pressure Work as One Controlled Package.

Treated feedwater enters through the configured tank and pump arrangement. After the permitted water level and safety conditions are confirmed, the burner mixes fuel with combustion air and releases heat into the generator heating surfaces.

Steam forms in the generator, separates in the upper steam space and leaves through the approved outlet and safety arrangement. The controller coordinates water feeding, burner start and stop, pressure signals, flame monitoring and protective shutdowns.

Engineering noteThe rated pressure is 0.09 MPa. Confirm the required pressure at the process equipment and the pressure loss through the steam line before selecting ZFQ.

FUEL, WATER & COMBUSTION ENGINEERING

Confirm the Real Utilities Before Locking the Generator Configuration.

The model range is only the first step. Reliable operation depends on the selected fuel, available fuel pressure, burner compatibility, combustion-air conditions, water quality, steam-load profile and the actual installation environment.

Send fuel and process data
  • 01
    Fuel Type & Quality

State natural gas, LPG, city gas, light diesel or another approved fuel together with pressure, composition or heating value where available.

  • 02
    Burner & Fuel Train

Gas train, regulator, filters, pumps, valves, leak testing and control settings must match the selected fuel and local code.

  • 03
    Steam-Load Profile

Separate normal demand, peak demand, startup load, operating hours and simultaneous equipment use.

  • 04
    Feedwater Quality

Control hardness, dissolved solids and blowdown because scale reduces heat transfer and can damage pressure parts.

  • 05
    Electrical Standard

Confirm voltage, phase and frequency for the burner, pump, control panel and optional auxiliaries.

  • 06
    Room & Chimney Route

Provide ventilation, safe fuel separation, drainage, service clearance and an approved flue-gas discharge route.

GENERATOR & SYSTEM BOUNDARY

Define the Generator, Burner and Utility Interfaces Together.

A complete proposal must identify what is included with the packaged generator and what remains with the customer’s fuel, water, electrical, steam-distribution and civil contractors.

✓ Steam-generator body and insulation✓ Matched burner configuration ✓ Automatic control panel✓ Water-level and pressure controls ✓ Safety valves and instruments✓ Feedwater pump arrangement ✓ Water-treatment option✓ Main valves and connection points ✓ Chimney and heat-recovery options✓ Foundation and interface drawings

Fuel storage, external gas train, site piping, power distribution, civil works, installation, local registration and inspection are included only when explicitly stated in the agreed supply scope.

SELECTION GUIDANCE

Choose ZFQ Only When the Pressure and Load Fit the Series.

ZFQ offers a compact gas/oil low-pressure steam route. When the process requires higher steam pressure, greater operating reserve, a different fuel, or a different statutory equipment route, compare WNS, SZS, LSS, biomass or electric alternatives before final selection.

Compare boiler and generator routes
  • 01
    Strong ZFQ Fit

Low-pressure process steam, suitable gas or liquid fuel, compact installation and a verified 0.2–2.0 t/h load range.

  • 02
    Verify Use-Point Pressure

Confirm the pressure required at the equipment after steam-pipe losses, valves and distribution.

  • 03
    Check Operating Reserve

Select from normal and peak demand rather than matching the generator exactly to a single theoretical load.

  • 04
    Review Alternatives

If the process pressure exceeds the ZFQ route, move to an appropriately rated steam boiler or generator instead of forcing the selection.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

ZFQ Gas/Oil-Fired Steam Generator FAQ.

Which ZFQ capacities are available?

The ZFQ product range includes 0.2, 0.3, 0.5, 0.7, 1.0, 1.5 and 2.0 t/h gas/oil models at 0.09 MPa with a rated steam temperature of 118°C.

Is ZFQ a high-pressure steam boiler?

No. This page covers the specified 0.09 MPa low-pressure ZFQ route. Higher-pressure applications require a different boiler or steam-generator selection.

Which fuels can be configured?

Technical data is available for natural gas, LPG, city gas, light diesel and heavy oil. The final burner and fuel train must be selected and commissioned for the actual site fuel.

Is the 93% value guaranteed for every project?

The listed thermal efficiency is 93%. Final guaranteed performance, test conditions and fuel basis must be stated in the approved technical agreement.

Does the generator require water treatment?

Yes. Water quality and blowdown must be controlled according to the generator requirements and applicable standards because scale and sludge reduce heat transfer and equipment life.

Can ZFQ replace a WNS or SZS steam boiler?

Not automatically. ZFQ should be compared with WNS, SZS or another generator series only after capacity, use-point pressure, operating hours, fuel and compliance requirements are checked.

Is a steam generator exempt from registration everywhere?

No global exemption claim is made. Registration, inspection, operator and approval requirements depend on local law, equipment classification and the final configuration.

What information is needed for selection?

Send normal and peak steam demand, required pressure at the process equipment, operating hours, fuel type and conditions, feedwater temperature and quality, electrical standard, installation space and destination.
